Suffolk Pride is a countywide event that celebrates LGBTQ+ equality and diversity. The one-day parade and Pride celebration event will take place on the Waterfront in Ipswich on Saturday 22 June 2019 from 12 to 6 pm. The parade along the Waterfront will start at mid-day near Dance East and finish outside Cult Café on Orwell Quay, where there will be a variety of live music and entertainment, a range of food and beverage stalls and selected business stands showcasing their products, services and support for the LGBTQ+ community. People across Suffolk are invited to enjoy an affordable family-friendly day of fantastic entertainment, to taste the best food and refreshments and to learn more about Suffolk’s LGBTQ+ community. As part of the Pride celebrations, there will also be a programme of activities in schools and libraries across Suffolk in June. On the day we hope to continue festivities into the evening with associated events – more to follow.
